If you find it difficult to visit the community library we can help.
Our free Home Library and Information Service (HLIS) will deliver books, large print books, movies on DVD and audiobooks right to your door.
Our volunteers can choose books to suit your tastes and either deliver them to you once a fortnight or reserve them at the library ready for collection by a member of your family, a carer or a friend.
This service is ideal if you are unable to get to the library, cannot carry books comfortably, or if you are a busy carer. We deliver to people who live in residential and nursing homes too.

How to join HLIS
You can call into the library, drop us an email at kirkbylibrary@outlook.com or ring us on 01609 534557 to arrange a home visit. Our outreach librarian can then talk to you about your reading, listening and watching preferences.
