The library will close on Friday 28th August and will re-open on Monday 14th September
We have been very fortunate to receive funding from the National Lottery Community fund to refurbish and update the adult / main section of the library.
The proposed refit will offer a bright, modern layout which we hope existing and new customers will enjoy. We will still have customer seating and computers for public use as well as our excellent stock of books.
The project will start at the end of August and the library will be closed for a short time but we will ensure that customers have access beforehand to borrow and return books and use all the additional services we provide.
Customers will have loan periods extended by three weeks so that no fines are incurred over the closure.
