Where We Are

The library is located at the top end of Kirkbymoorside Market Place just beyond the King’s Head Hotel and car park entrance.

Opening Hours

Please note that opening hours at present are :

Saturday09:30 – 12:30

We do not open on Sundays or on Bank Holidays.

Getting to Kirkbymoorside

Bus services run to and from Kirkbymoorside via the surrounding villages. Buses stop in the Market Place. Details of these services can be found from North Yorkshire Council here, or by contacting Traveline by calling 0871 200 2233 or on their web site www.traveline.info

Parking

Limited car parking is available on the roadside outside the library. The town car park is located behind the library and parking is subject to North Yorkshire Council charges.

Accessibility

The library entrance has three steps up with handrails.  Wheelchair users have access via a ramp.

Internally, the library is all on one level with no steps. There is a wheelchair-friendly toilet on the ground floor. Meeting rooms are on the first floor which can easily be accessed via a lift.
